Fishing

Ever since my grandpa took me to the “infamous farm pond” where the water would literally boil when you moved your fishing line over the water, I’ve been hooked on fishing.

Despite the nastiest smelling catfish bait anyone could possibly imagine and sitting on a bucket in the middle of a frozen lake with a temperature of 10 degrees below zero, I still persevered and worked hard to learn as much about catching fish as I possibly could.

Now, as I approach my mid forties and I start to teach my sons how to fish, I’m glad I spent the time learning the tricks of fishing from my grandpa.

Its my turn to pass on the knowledge my grandpa had to the next generation.

This blog will document my journey of teaching my sons not only about fishing, trapping and hunting but about the lessons of life as well.

I’m glad you’ve decided to come along for the ride and I hope you’ll benefit from my teaching too.

As the kids today are constantly saying, Legoooooo!!!
